Using the intervention programs of nutrigenomics offered through LIVING WELL TODAY INTERNATIONAL and Auditory Integration Training and BioAcoustics offered through THE DAVIS CENTER, Julia is an aware, affectionate and engaged little girl of 6 years of age.

She exhibited all the classic signs of autism at age 2 and 3: tantrums with no cause, inability to leave the house to go on outings, non-awareness of surroundings or people, non-verbal and obsessed with moving and shiny parts of toys, awake for long periods of time repeatedly during the night for the first 4 years of her life.
Through the miracle of biomedical intervention, Julia steadily came out of her fog to  a state where friends and family question whether she even had autism to begin with.
  • Have you reached a plateau in the recovery of your autistic child?
  • Are you just starting out on the autism recovery journey and don’t know where to get effective treatments or get help that you can afford?
  • Are you battling concurrent symptoms or syndromes such Sensory Processing Dysfunction or ADHD or chromosomal imbalances?

Then come to learn the details about what nutrigenomics is and how a specialized Sound Therapy program.

BREAKING NEWS: DUE TO PARENT RESPONSE WE ARE CHANGING THE TIMES OF OUR TALKS TO BETTER MEET THE DEMANDS OF WORKING PARENTS.  ALL TALKS WILL BE GIVEN AT NIGHT OR ON THE WEEKEND

SPEAKER LIST
Tuesday, August 2:

7-9 pm, Raffle of one free hearing assessment - DETP ($600 value)
The Davis Center - Dorinne Davis,
Title: A Whole Body Approach When Using Sound-based Therapies for the Autistic Person
The Davis Model of Sound Intervention™ addresses the whole body’s response to sound vibration and stimulation at the cellular level and at an energetic level which includes a connection between the voice, the ear, and the brain.  Find out why and how sound-based therapies i.e. AIT, Tomatis and BioAcoustics, make change for those on the autism spectrum.  It is not the therapy itself but the person’s need for whole body balance at these sound levels that provides the protocol for success.

Wednesday, August 3
6:00 pm – 6:30 pm – First Words –  Brief Overview of the new clinic and services offered.
6:35 am to 7:45 pm –  Kathy Paine, from Living Well Today, Intl

Title:  Nutrigenomics – An Effective Treatment for Improving Your Child’s Autistic Symptoms
Specific bionutrients (vitamins, minerals and amino acids) are indicated by a gene assay of the metabolic cycles and ingestion of these nutritional substances have been shown to elicit remarkable positive changes in a large database of children on the autism spectrum.  Supplementation with bionutrients is necessary due to low enzymatic activity in metabolic reactions because of multiple gene SNP’s.  Examples will be shown correlating a gene SNP with specific bionutrients and the corresponding changes in biochemistry through urine analysis.  A review of introductory biochemistry will be presented so that it will be easy to follow how functional medicine works to improve neurochemistry and gastrointestinal imbalances.

8:00 to 9:00 pm - – Michael Payne, founder of Living Well Today, International,
Solamar Intensive

Title:  How Energy Medicine May Be the Missing Link:  Can you fix an electrical problem with biochemistry?
While biochemistry is important, changing the “body electric” may be the key to digestion, detox and repair.  Michael Payne will discuss a rehabilitation program using advanced homotoxicology and pulsed magnetic frequencies in the recovery of the central nervous system and brain.  These techniques, used at the Max Planck Institute and other European Agencies for Health, have been adopted by Living Well Today International in their new Solamar Intensive Program.  Don’t miss this “energetic” discussion.

3:00 to 3:30 pm – Sound Therapy – What to expect in the “sound room booth”
First hand experience will be provided of what happens in your child’s DETP in The Davis Center protocol for auditory rehabilitation.  Example results of hearing sensitivity tests before and after AIT, and voice prints of BioAcoustics diagnostics  will be shown.   The mechanics of the AIT and Enlisten programs will be discussed and what to expect when your child undergoes these treatments.  Cymatics is a physical vibration method of entraining the vagus nerve and internal organs to retone to their optimal vibrational frequencies.  This therapy has been demonstrated to improve behaviors in autistic children as a stand-alone treatment.   This therapy will be offered to families who  have graduated to the “crown"  of  the Tree of Sound Enhancement Therapy  practiced at The Davis Center.

3:40 to 4:00 pm   – Talk Tools, Speech and Oro-motor/Feeding Therapy  -
A brief overview of the protocol and its effectiveness in children with feeding and speech disabilities.  A fully detailed talk will be given in early October (3-6) by Whitney Pimentel from Arizona, she will conduct the travel clinic to Richmond four times a year.  Families are encouraged to sign up for the speech and feeding diagnostic at the October conference during the August  A.R.C. 2011 seminars.  The diagnostic will be conducted by Sara Rosenfeld Johnson, the founder of Talk Tools.

4:05 pm- 4:15 pm – Closing Remarks – Kathy Paine

If there is not sufficient online ticket purchase for the August conference  by Friday, July 30, the agenda for Saturday will be moved to October 3-6.  Stay posted on our website to get breaking news.

The DETP is an initial hearing assessment (Diagnostic Evaluation Testing Protocol)  wherein your child  will be tested for hearing sensitivity, tympanic muscle response, an electronic voice print (because the voice can replicate only what the ear hears), and the air vs. bone conduction of sound tests.  From these tests a recommendation of a specific training program (or programs) for the ears is made and is indicated in a specific order of execution.  If the BioAcoustics program is selected for your child, he or she receives a specially created program of personal frequencies unique to each person based on the voice print.  The cost of the DETP is $571 and can be submitted to insurance companies for re-imbursement.  During the August conference, the payment for the DETP is transacted directly to The Davis Center upon completion of the testing.  Please keep all of your receipts and paperwork so that our medical biller can file insurance for you. Not all insurance policies provide coverage for this assessment.  In that event, our new clinic will work with the family for an affordable payment plan.

Please visit  www.thedaviscenter.com for more information about the DETP and frequently asked questions about sound therapy and how the disorder you are trying to mend is effectively managed using sound.  There are videos and technical information about the mechanism of rehabilitation using sound frequencies.

Dorinne Davis will be presenting her talk only one time at the conference where the remaining days (August 3-5, Wed. thru Fri.) will be spent providing the initial diagnostic testing (DETP) for families ready to get started on the Sound Therapy protocol right away.  Approximately 8 children per day can be tested for a total potential of 24 families receiving attention at the A.R.C.  2011 conference in Richmond.

NOTE: You must attend  Tuesday night’s session in order to be eligible for the DETP.  Due to the limited number of spaces available, it is highly recommended that you reserve your spot for evaluation now by contacting Kathy Paine at [email protected].  You can always remove your name from the DETP list if you don’t want to proceed after hearing Ms. Davis’ talk.  The cost of the session is $571 and payment is not required until after the DETP is complete.  All DETP’s will be carried out in the 8th floor suite of the Holiday Inn Koger Center.

ALL THERAPIES RECOMMENDED BY THE DAVIS CENTER WILL BE ADMINISTERED IN RICHMOND AT THE NEW LIVING WELL TODAY CLINIC.

The Davis Center will be visiting the new Living Well Today clinic quarterly to evaluate new children and restest established children for the next therapy action.  The next time Ms. Davis and staff will be here is in early December.  It is highly recommended that you put your name on the waiting list for December if you don’t complete the DETP in August.

Two of Ms. Davis’ books will be offered for sale during the conference and online through our website.

Sound Bodies through Sound Therapy

Picture
is an essential book for understanding the physiology of the ear, the central nervous system and its interaction with ear and how sound therapies are effective in repairing dysfunction between these two systems.  It is a technical book with sufficient and comprehensive content to be of interest to medical doctors.  Yet it is written in easy to understand language and with a description of a complete array of sound therapies out on the market to be of interest  to anyone wanting to know more about this fascinating area of whole body revitalization.  It is not necessary to be challenged with any disorder to benefit from sound therapy.

Every Day a Miracle: Success Stories with Sound Therapy

Picture
is a much more parent friendly book, set up in the style of presenting 16 case histories of mostly children on the autism spectrum or related and concurrent dysfunction, and their response to their personalized sound treatment program.  Each chapter chronicles one case at a time and is split into two parts: 1) the parent account of behaviors for their child before and after The Davis Center protocols and 2) Ms. Davis’ insight and further clarification of the case and why a particular sound therapy was effective in that case.
