Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol (DETP)

The Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol (DETP®) is a proprietary test battery designed by Dorinne Davis to identify key learning, development, and wellness issues and suggests an appropriate sequenced protocol for the administration of sound-based therapies, as defined from The Tree of Sound Enhancement Therapy® 's connections. Tests of hearing function, sound processing skills, auditory processing skills, as well as vocal analysis provide information as to which therapy, or therapies, should be considered. This test battery takes the guesswork out of determining which, if any, sound-based therapy should be considered for anyone.

The Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol (DETP®) is the starting point for determining which sound-based therapy is appropriate. The results of the DETP® determine the correct, foundational sequence for the administration of sound-based therapies and their benefits. The interpretation of how one uses the connections between their voice, ear, and brain are demonstrated in the results of this test battery. Identifying how the person functions with these skills is key for maximizing the therapy outcomes. All sound therapies can make change but the best results with long standing changes are evidenced when administered in the correct order. Ms. Davis is credentialed in 20 different sound-based therapies. She noticed that the many options for therapy were confusing. Her Tree analogy provides an easy way to determine how the therapies impact our bodies and which therapies should be implemented. The DETP® provides solutions to understanding the complexities of sound-based therapies and their benefits. This test battery is a must for anyone considering using a sound-based therapy.
